Test Engineer

We've recently secured €5M in Series A funding, which has strengthened our leading position in the clean mobile energy space, supports the growth of our team, and the expansion of our business internationally. As part of taking the company to the next level, we are on the lookout for a skilled Test Engineer, who is ready to ensure the quality and reliability of our products!

Your role as a Test Engineer;

As a QA engineer at Skoon, you will:

• Map out and improve the testing process and leverage your knowledge to get Skoon to the next level.
• Conduct testing activities to verify software functionality and performance.
• Identify and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Work closely with the development team to understand the application's requirements and features.
• Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer, who can solve problems quickly and diligently, and knows the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up. We seek someone who will build on and improve the fundamentals of QA at Skoon and lay the foundation for a dedicated team. A strong sense of personal and professional engagement with our team, product and mission is deeply valued.

We are looking for someone who

• Has 3+ years of hands-on experience as a software testing engineer
• Shows higher education level reasoning and critical thinking
• Is comfortable setting up an entire testing landscape in a React and .NET stack.
• Is familiar with web development and has experience with relevant technologies.
• Thrives in a team-oriented environment and actively seeks collaboration with others.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Can manage expectations and handle pressure effectively.
• Possesses excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
• Is eager to apply their experience by contributing to the growth of Skoon and by sharing knowledge with colleagues

Bonus if you have; 

• a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
