Founded 6 years ago, Skoon is a rapidly growing scale-up with a mission to make clean energy accessible and affordable to everyone, always.

In 2023, we secured €5M in Series A funding, which strengthened our leading position as the world’s largest online platform for clean mobile energy systems. We are growing our team and expanding our business internationally. As part of taking the company to the next level, we are looking for a Business Manager, who is experienced within the entertainment sector.

Your role as a Business Manager Entertainment 

As a Business Developer Manager within the Entertainment sector, you will:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and expand customer base within the entertainment market.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the entertainment market.
• Stay updated on industry trends, film releases, and festival schedules to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate with operations and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the entertainment market.
• Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
• Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with overall company goals.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a skilled Business Manager in Entertainment, who can solve problems quickly and diligently, and knows the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up. Ideally, you have a wealth of expertise within the entertainment sector, and you can align objectives with the needs of our expanding business.

We are looking for someone who;

• Has 3+ years of relevant experience in the field of film, events or other entertainment industries.
• Has in-depth knowledge of the entertainment market, including film production, event organization, and festival coordination.
• Has an analytical mindset, with the capability to gather and interpret data, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Has a passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive change within the industry
• Is able to speak, read, and write English at a professional level.
